What does the Lui Ngai Ni Festival 2024 mean ?
The word Lui-Ngai-Ni means seed sowing festival. This word comes from different Naga Tribe languages. The word ‘Lui’ comes from ‘Luira Phanit’ (means ‘field festival’) taken from Tangkhul Naga Tribe. And ‘Ngai’ means ‘festival’ which is taken from the Rongmei Naga Tribe language. And the word ‘Ni’ means ‘seed sowing festival’ which is taken from the Mao Naga tribe.
