Tatoo Ceremony

Konyak Nagas can be identified by their tattoos all over their body among other Naga Tribes, especially the facial tattoos which was gained by capturing an enemy’s head.

Morung is an institution of community where they display their social practices & beliefs. And the elders members of society teach the young boys about their culture and rituals.

Konyak naga men women exhibit, they are expert in gun smithing, iron smelting, gunpowder making, brass work, handicrafts, bamboo work, are their unique traditional techniques.

Konyak naga perform many ritual ceremony during this whole week of festival days, animal sacrifice, prayers, to invoke blessings of God, gunfire, firecrackers to ward off evil spirits.

Aoleang Monyu

Konyak naga people celebrate Aoleang Monyu festival in April 1st week every year at Mon, Kisama of Nagaland North East India. Konyaks Dance Sing Food Games have so much fun.
